Privacy notice

This site is operated by Aitronaut ("we"). This notice explains what personal data we handle when you use aitronaut.ai, and why. Last updated: 5 June 2026.

The short version

This site has no user accounts and no database. When you send us a form, it arrives as an email and lives in our mailbox. We use one analytics tool, configured so that nothing is stored on your device. That's nearly the whole story; the details follow.

What we collect and why

Contact and assessment forms. Name, work email, optional phone number and whatever you write in the message or assessment fields. We use this to reply to you, prepare your readout if you requested one and decide together whether we should work together. Lawful basis: the steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Analytics. We use PostHog (EU hosting) to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location from your IP address and device type. It runs cookieless: nothing is stored on your device, there is no advertising and no cross-site tracking. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. If we ever move to cookie-based analytics, a consent banner will arrive first.

Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered by Resend (email infrastructure) and stored in our business mailbox (Google Workspace). The site is hosted by Vercel. Analytics data is processed by PostHog (EU hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their standard data processing terms. We don't sell personal data and we don't share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Form emails: as long as the conversation or relationship is live, reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer needed. Analytics: 12 months. We keep what a working relationship needs and nothing ceremonial.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to our processing of it or ask us to restrict it. Email rob@aitronaut.ai and a person will deal with it. You can also complain to your data protection authority, though we'd rather you told us first so we can fix it.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA and UK

Some providers process data outside the EU/EEA and UK. Where they do, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Details on request.
